Founded in 1975 by Mr. and Mrs. Lafitte, Galerie Claude Lafitte specializes in 20th century high end quality works of art by Canadians such as Barbeau, Borduas, Carr, Cullen, Dallaire, Fortin, Gagnon, Hurtubise, Krieghoff, Lemieux, Letendre, Lyman, McEwen, Molinari, Morrice, Pellan, Pilot, Riopelle, Robinson, Thomson, Tousignant, Suzor-Côté, the Group of Seven; as well as internationally renowned artists such as Chagall, Léger, Marini, Miro, Moore, Motherwell, Picasso and Renoir.
